Alegrate Maria Radio was brought upon by a vision to evangelize through the means of media communications in order to serve the needs of a growing population in deep South Texas which includes the communities in Rio Grande City, McAllen, Mission, Edinburg, Weslaco, Harlingen and Brownsville. Our group consists of laity from the Diocese of Brownsville that are committed to the Catholic Church. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit we have committed ourselves to provide quality media programming through the radio waves, online radio, online videos and social media.
